  • This is truly an amazing find. I lived in Tampa for 4 years and never knew about this place until recently. Met my friend for lunch here on a Sunday and the food exceeded my expectations. I got the Fat Beet hot chicken sandwich and blackberry lemonade for my main meal and grabbed some fresh cookies and sourdough croutons from the bakery to take home. There are lots of tables to sit at outside. You can tell everything is freshly made and it feels amazing to be able to purchase a variety of locally grown items. I will be telling all my friends about this place!

  • The Fat Beet Farm is a fun experience. Choose from fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche, and breakfast dishes. Everything is farm fresh, and you can tell the difference of no preservatives. They have many agricultural products to go, plus tasty pastries and desserts.

  • This is an amazing place. The staff was always welcoming and friendly! The food is fresh, tasty, and I can't get enough of their cinnamon rolls! I go there weekly and get at least 2 of those everytime! Amazing atmosphere and service, I'm so glad I found this gem!

  • Had a nice time at Fat Beet. Got the Quiche, chicken biscuit and biscuits and gravy. All were tasty, but the Biscuits and Gravy won the day. The farm was closed so we couldn't walk around, but still had a fun time.

  • The cavatappi mac & cheese was incredible. The noodles held onto the sauce perfectly and the fontina and cheddar blend made for an immaculate, flavorful cheese pool. The roast beef sandwich was tender, and the sauce was so good I found myself sipping it after every bite. The beet cupcake was a unique surprise, not too sweet and topped with a cute flower frosting. Seating is only outdoors, so keep that in mind when planning a visit. It also felt a little less like a traditional farmers market since much of the produce was refrigerated or already prepared, though everything still looked fresh and appetizing. I did try calling a few times before my visit but couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Overall, the food was excellent, the options were abundant, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back!

  • Fat Beet Farm Kitchen & Bakery – Honest Thoughts We were excited to check out Fat Beet Farm after hearing about its farm-to-table concept, but our visit was a bit underwhelming. The food was decent—fresh and flavorful—but definitely overpriced for what you get. One major downside: all seating is outdoors. On a hot Florida day, that meant battling the heat and a swarm of flies while trying to enjoy our meal. It really took away from the experience. To top it off, the farm portion—which we were looking forward to exploring—was closed to the public due to a private event. It would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time. Overall, it’s a charming idea with potential, but the execution didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.
